I also love social media. I know not all businesses think Twitter/Facebook/LinkedIn/YouTube is right for them and I cringe when people say that “we think it’s a waste of time. We tried it and had no uptake so stopped trying” and then when you go on their profile they’ve Tweeted all of 5 times. No it won’t happen overnight and yes it takes time, but what better way to speak directly to your audience? Also, if you’re already writing press releases, taking great images, creating new product literature why not share all these goodies with the World Wide Web?
